Prior to join our Group, Jean-Bernard worked for Societe Generale group (a leading financial services company in Europe and around the world) as Senior Vice-President in charge of capital markets for WAEMU.
During his career, Jean-Bernard got several leadership positions where he led strategic projects and important fund-raising transactions for governments, large corporates and institutions. He has also advised high level investors in the management of their local assets.
Initially Jean-Bernard started his professional career in Cote d’Ivoire as a junior internal auditor in SIFCA group, a panafrican commodities company. With “the Kerviel affair”, which rock Société Générale in 2008, he is recruited as regional Internal auditor to participate to the task force in charge to transform audit and control division in Africa.
In his academic background M. EPONOU Master of Science (Msc) in Corporate Finance and Organization delivered by KEDGE Business School (Marseille, France). He was graduated from Bank High School / ITB (Paris, France) after his master’s degree in financial management from Mouloud Mammeri University in Tizi Ouzou in Algeria. He has also a Certification in Management and Strategy from IFG Executive Education (Paris, France).
